		<description>Yup, and that's what this post is about. I wrote the old, elaborate post, was entirely too pleased with myself, and tagged it for 43folders. 

The one advantage of the plus method is that you can keep your list-related correspondences (regardless of things like subject lines) in a separate mailbox.</description>

		<description>Sorry to be dense, but can't you just filter the mailing lists and tell the filter to Skip Inbox?

The + trick does have issues, lost of places won't even recognize an email address with a + in it as valid.</description>
