First Post!
I’m just installing my new WordPress blog. A few things I’ve noticed:
- It’s pretty darn slow. I’m not sure if it’s my hosting provider or if I just need to turn on caching.
- The default URL scheme is pretty lousy.
- It’s pretty hackable if you know a thing or two about PHP.
- Ctrl-A doesn’t go to the beginning of the line the way I’d like.
Fortunately, I don’t think any of these misfeatures are deal-killers. I’ll do some hacking and maybe enter a real post or two once I’ve got it looking the way I like it.

FYI, another party has also filed for a “Trip Logger” application number 11/495356, filed 07/27/2006 which was over two years after your publication date. If they are awarded a patent then you should get a piece of it. Actually, it should be invalid because you previously put the idea into the public domain.
