I’m just installing my new WordPress blog. A few things I’ve noticed:

• It’s pretty darn slow. I’m not sure if it’s my hosting provider or if I just need to turn on caching.
• The default URL scheme is pretty lousy.
• It’s pretty hackable if you know a thing or two about PHP.
• Ctrl-A doesn’t go to the beginning of the line the way I’d like.

Fortunately, I don’t think any of these misfeatures are deal-killers. I’ll do some hacking and maybe enter a real post or two once I’ve got it looking the way I like it.
